Although I am "new" on the art scene I feel that my passion for landscape oil painting makes up for this. I would say that my style is definitely more towards realism, as I like to render what I have seen during my frequent outings in the great outdoors, with maybe a hint of impressionism, in that I tend to exagerate and "force" the colours to come out. I like detail in my paintings and am especially fond of sunsets and sunrises and their effects on shadows and cast colours. I have done many paintings for friends and family, of local and international scenery but I must say that I especially enjoy painting the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
